Black Calipers on White Car

which color would you paint your brake calipers?
I was looking into getting my 05' S4 brake calipers dressed up! lol
I was looking at the JHM site and am defiantly going to get the S4 clips for the calipers, but my only question is, what color should I paint the rest of the calipers??
My car is Arctic white FYI (I am on the fence of blue or red)...
what do you advise? IF YOU have any pics of your calipers painted, that would be much appreciated... thanks!

I think I'd go red, because it would be a nice contrast from my Silver B6. It would all depend on the car.

black. i personally dislike any coloured calipers with the exception of some big brake kits

I have a gray B6 w/ black RS4 reps. I painted my calipers and hats black (OE rattle clips).
IMO those rattle clips look best on silver/gray calipers, but at $120 for a dress up item i'll pass. I need to get my exhaust and suspension sorted out first before i splurge on the more cosmetic stuff.

I* agree Mark. Performance > Cosmetics. Thats why I am saving for headers over getting new rims...although those VMR rims are calling out to me.

For a white car, red or black. Blue on white looks too much like what a cheaply modded civic owner would do. Blue brakes only really go with blue cars

Yeah fronts are a piece of cake. I wouldnt do anyone's rear calipers unless they are already gutted.

I had mine done in yellow, it looks pretty sharp and turns many heads. I attached a pic that doesn't really focus on the brakes so much but it gives you an idea.

I'd go with black. Whenever I see red calipers, I'm expecting Porsche or Brembos, not painted stockies....

Tough call here, you have to think about what your car is going to look like rolling. The RS4 is all black, but they give us a dumb silver background on our clip. So I would say stick to silver and make it look uniform. Or red to match the the Audi Sport logo.

agreed...I think it's a bad call
I was going to say it's like getting the silver S4 side mirror caps on an A4, but then I remembered I have an RS4 grill on the front of my car. Will shut up now.

once you go WHITE, everything else is trite.
Live on the edge and color match them there calipers.

How much punishment to calipers take? Once you start painting them... are you committed to repaint every year? or does the paint job last a while?
I never got into the caliper painting since i have always been scared that withing a few months the paint would chip and then you have to either redo the job... or drive around with calipers that look like crap.
